Mental Health Awareness - Your mind matters 💚

So you’ve just recently been diagnosed or maybe you’ve never seen a health care provider to attach a label on what you’ve been feeling, thinking, or suppressing lately. If you experience loss of interest in things that you normally enjoy, have been drinking and/or using drugs to cope with the dissatisfaction and pain of life, having suicidal thought without the intent of actually doing the shit. Or maybe you do have ever intention because you feel like you’ve had way too much and feel like you’re at the end of your road. Maybe you have found the right place…. This is my personal gift to you..

You can live a manageable life and you will experience the peace, belonging, joy and happiness that you have been longing for. Simply because it is your birthright and you are worthy of it all … These words may mean nothing to you at this given moment and think that its another cliche or weak saying on the internet.. I’ve felt the same way boo. Frfr. I hope you take the time to reflect on how far you have come in life, even the smallest things you have accomplished, and the things that make you laugh. These are the things that make you so special 💚 💙 Because if nobody has told you lately, I love you. And I need to share some of my personal favorite coping skills that may take away some of the symptoms that you have been experiencing.

The first step is exploring the possibility that maybe you do have a problem. I mean why else would you be on this page? Like, please be brutally honest with yourself. Mayo Clinic Staff (2022) suggests that, if you have experienced any of these symptoms for the 14 days or more, you should strongly consider seeking extra support:

  • Sad or low mood

  • Irritable

  • Feeling worried alll the time

  • Trouble concentrations

  • Hopeless about the future

  • Seeing or hearing things that others may not

  • Socializing less or withdrawing from family and or friends

  • Sleeping more or less

Serious mood changes in a short period of time

**Please be aware that I am NOT a therapist, counselor, Psychiatrist, or any type of medical provider. And I highly recommend seeking medical and mental health services in your local area to be properly treated <3
